The chances of T.J. Houshmandzadeh signing with the Eagles appear to have vanished after a report that receiver's agent lied to the team's management.
Houshmandzadeh's agent, Kennard McGuire, called the Eagles on Friday and claimed his client would sacrifice salary in order to play in Philadelphia, according to sources.
However, the Eagles inquired around the league and discovered that the receiver was actually asking for more money than he was from other clubs.
Seahawks Begin Courtship Of T.J.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh visited with the Seahawks on Friday, and the team attempted to impress him by putting his name up in lights at Qwest Field.
Seattle was the first team to host Houshmandzadeh, who admitted that he is interested in playing for the Vikings, Giants and Eagles as well.
